About the role
As Principal Investments Officer, you will assist management in identifying and implementing innovative business initiatives that will enhance the delivery of the Public Trustee's investment and financial services to the community. Key responsibilities

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Conduct financial analysis of options and prepare business cases to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Public Trustee's investment and financial service operations.
- Implement working SLAs and associated measurement procedures for service providers.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues within the business unit and across the professional services and build effective working relationships to identify and implement new initiatives, policies and procedures.
- The preparation of specifications and documentation to assist with the procurement of investment and financial services from third party providers in accordance with State Procurement Policy.
- Act as secretariat for tenders relating to the procurement of investment and financial services.
- The administration of business initiatives within the approved project management methodology guidelines; implement the requirements of record management policies and procedures.
- Other improvement initiatives as agreed.
- Contributing to a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical.
- Keeping yourself and others safe and well.
- Other duties as required.

Mandatory requirements
While not mandatory, possession of qualifications in business administration, procurement, project management or finance would be well regarded.
