Canteen Supervisor

At Vanilla Blue, we're reimagining the typical school canteen with our inspiring, nourishing, and freshly prepared seasonal menu. We're making the canteen the heart of the school, a hub of activity serving great food enjoyed by both students and staff daily.

We're seeking a **Canteen Supervisor**to join our team in a private girls' school in **North Sydney 2060**. This role is ideal for a cafe or canteen professional who wants school holidays off, or someone looking for a better work-life balance.

**Permanent Part-Time role**: Monday to Friday, 5 days/week

**Hours**: 38 hours per week

**Pay**: $32 - $33/hour + super

**Shifts**: rosters between 7am - 4pm

**Term-based**: 38 weeks per year

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Simple food prep and presentation (sandwiches, toasties, salads, etc)
- Lunch sorting and packing
- Front-of-house service and POS usage
- Support the Canteen Manager with kitchen operations as required
- Kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
- Work in a fast-paced, process driven, line cooking environment

**To be Successful**
- 2 years' previous experience in school canteens or a cafe
- 1 year in a supervisory role
- Good computer literacy - proficient using Word and Excel
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Good time management and punctuality
