**The Role**

Centacare is excited to offer a fixed-term, part-time opportunity for a Mental Health Practitioner within our impactful SPRING program. In this role, you will provide crucial support to young people aged 11-18 who are experiencing suicidal distress, self-harming behaviours, or other mental health challenges.

This meaningful part time position involves working outside of traditional hours, including weekends, with a rotating roster across Thursday to Monday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. **What you need to bring**

**Essential**
- Degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or related field.
- It is essential to be able to work out of hours and on weekends. Rotating Roster Thursday
- Monday 11am
- 8pm
- Proven experience working alongside vulnerable youth and their networks facing barriers to support
- Proven experience delivering a service compassionately to people experiencing distress
- Proven experience working effectively in collaboration with stakeholders
- Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check.
- Valid Driver’s Licence

**Desirable**
- Experience working in crisis spaces
- Experience working with families with complex needs
- Understanding of the referral pathways and how to navigate systems delivering services for mental health and broader social issues
