We have been retained to identify and acquire a CEO that has been described as a capacity builder and transitioned organisations through scaling up without compromise on quality or profitability. Experience in dealing with company boards and an understanding of the obligations of being ASX listed are preferred. We are keen to engage with executives that have provided guidance across all levels of multi-site operations, ideally within a service-based industry such as: early education, retail, aged care, hospitality or medical services.

You will have at least five years’ experience as a CEO with proven results in building engagement, employee capacity and developing a quality culture whilst delivering stated commercial outcomes. You will be-able to demonstrate how you have brought an entire company on the journey. You can demonstrate a deep cross-functional understanding and proven management of the various functions in a company like HR, marketing, legal, finance and operations.

You have a strong moral compass and an ability to build relationships at all levels. You are honest, able to read a room and the needs of the people. You will define your success in seeing others “rise”, and your success will be defined by their success, for you will only succeed through others succeeding. You do not want to have a place on a pedestal and prefer to stand side by side, sharing power, with your feet firmly on the ground.

The essential value a CEO will bring to the organisation is to bring the best out of our people, allowing them space, confidence and making it safe for them to empower themselves and “rise” to their rightful place. Assist the leaders in the company to execute on the strategy, through coaching, challenging thinking and ensuring that the best ideas prevail. The CEO must be an inspirational leader, able to engage with people at all levels and from all backgrounds and provide a safe and happy environment.
