**About the Team**
Our Systems Engineering team provides professional analytical support to our Projects to ensure we continue to deliver outstanding customer outcomes. We conduct challenging and enjoyable work on leading military platforms including BOXER, LYNX and our HX Logistic products.
**About the Role**
The Systems Engineering, Integration and Test Manager is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the systems engineering, integration and test activities to ensure that the systems engineering program is conducted successfully and the customer’s requirements are met. This role will lead, develop and continuously improve the SEIT activities to ensure that these engineering activities are completed and delivered in compliance with the program’s contractual deliverables. This involves the integration and management of both, Australian and European engineering activities.

- **Systems Engineering, Integration and Test Manager**, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
- Plan, oversee and manage the delivery of all SEIT activities across all vehicle variants of one allocated acquisition program;
- Provide technical specialist advice and regular consultation to the Program Director and Chief Engineer on engineering matters as they affect the program delivery;
- Provide leadership to the SEIT Team;
- Define and monitor appropriate engineering technical performance measures;
- Ensure that the requirements defined in the engineering work packages have clear traceability back to the Contract Specification requirements and any relevant derived requirements;
- Manage delivery to the Commonwealth design review process including preparation of packages for the various Mandated Systems Review activities;
- Work closely with the RDA project team, other entities and sub-contractors to develop assigned vehicle related engineering artefacts; and
- Delegate engineering activities to the RDA and other Rheinmetall entities’ engineering staff according to contractual deliverables.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering that allows registration as RPEQ or Engineers Australia Chartered Status;
- Clear understanding of systems engineering process and functional baseline management from specification writing, requirement analysis and traceability through to system level design/architecture/interface, and requirements management;
- Experience leading a multi-disciplined team of engineering and technical staff;
- Experience interpreting complex engineering function and performance specifications, and a capacity to identify existing technical solutions to meet these specifications;
- Knowledge of ASDEFCON standards (Advantageous);
- Ability to travel interstate and internationally when required; and
- MUST hold Australian Citizenship status to satisfy a Government Security Clearance (Negative Vetting 1).
