Horse Trailer/recreational Vehicle Builder

The Company.

We are a nationally recognised builder of top quality Horse Floats, with excellence in poerformance and quality of finish. Our vehicles frequently include Caravan type living quarters, and, are all custom built.

The Role.

Encompasses a wide ranging skill set, as our vehicles are totally built in house. It is anticipated that the successful applicant will not have all of the skills and knowledge to cover the broad area of work involved in the builds, which includes steel fabrication, sheet metal fabrication, spray painting, 12 volt electrical, cladding, axle assembly, internal fit outs etc... Potentially the variety of work is broad and not factory style repetition.

The Person.

Must have the ability to handle tools safely and efficiently. To be able to use measuring tapes and rules with accuracy and to cut and fit a variety of materials, with a focus on attention to detail and the achievement of a quality result. Whilst experience may be favourably regarded, we are seeking a person who will fit into the workplace and has the ability to learn and above all genuinely wants to come to work to make a contribution. In return the successful applicant will enjoy the benefit of a relaxed, flexible work place and the ability to work with mínimal supervision. The position is full time and permanent working a 38 hour week plus 2 hours permanent over time. Remuneration shall increase as skill levels grow and productivity increases.

Pay: $24.80 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
