**Turbocharger Technician - Small Frame**

**Salary $70k - $90k**

Centrally located at Condell Park, and with International facility in Tokyo Japan we are a growing organisation offering opportunity to all our employees.

**About the Role**:
This role is situated in of engineering workshop, is a hands-on role and focuses on taking the turbocharger from a used second hand product through to an OEM spec fully remanufactured product for all types of customers. With support of a very experienced team, you will:

- dismantle turbochargers of all shapes, sizes, brands with expertise to ensure not further damage occurs to components.
- diagnose turbocharger failure issues, fault find, document and report these to customers.
- measure to tolerance critical dimensions, record to OEM specification.
- clean all components with focus on the highest level of cleanliness and ensure no contamination.
- re-assemble the product using Schenk balancing equipment to better than OEM specification.
- completing all documentation in line with our internal ISO standards

**Experience**
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in a similar position
- Minimum of 5+ years machining, milling, precision grinding and precision honing turbocharger components.
- Minimum 5+ years of turbocharger shaft balancing, VSR balancing, and Flow Bench testing. Ideally with Schenk and VISCOM machines.
- Capable of precision welding TIG and MIG
- Ability to work within WH&S/OHS regulations as set out by the Company

**Skills**
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proof of previous work experience for the past 10 years
- Australian work permit or VISA, tax file number
- Intermediate level computer skills
- Any certificates in the Diesel / Turbocharger technician field
- Be a team player
- Be focused on time management
- Have a current drivers licence

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
