**Retail Assistant/Cashier**
- Provide friendly service when working at a point of sale, or throughout the Supermarket by.
- Following the correct check out process.
- Selling and providing assistance to customers in their selection of product range.
- Adhere to company loyalty card standards.
- Providing assistance to customers with their shopping needs throughout the Supermarket Departments.
- Suggesting promotional items.
- Packing all items with care.
- Living the culture of The Friendliest Team; Acknowledging customers throughout the Supermarket.
- Cleaning front counter area, to ensure a hygienic, safe and pleasant environment for customers.
- Adhering to company preferred dress standards as per the Ritchies Company Policy.
- Managing cash register float and the preparation of regular surplus cash deposits in accordance with Cash Handling procedures.
- Maintaining stock levels of bags, terminal rolls, spare change, customer contact cards.
- Maintaining stock levels in display fridges, including presentation standards in relation to facing up product, correct rotation of stock and date coding as per company procedure.
- Displaying standard and promotional in-store advertising material in line with company policy and procedure.
- Assisting other Team Members as directed by the Duty Manager
