- IST remit includes selection, implementation and support of data production systems and process control systems_
- (PCS), PCS and data standards, OT servers and network, IT& OT cybersecurity, data systems and PCS stand‐alone_
- projects and OT component of large projects such as new plants and expansions. As well as supporting end users_
- with required hardware and software, networking and user support._
**About the Role**
This newly created role will be vital to the new IST Project Support Team, reporting to the Chief
Information Officer.
The IST Project Support team, compromises of Change Management, Project Management and
IST business analysis. This team supports a large number of internal and external IST projects.
This role is based in Perth; however, occasional travel to Site in Greenbushes will be required.
This role would appeal to an experienced change practitioner wanting an opportunity to develop
the change management strategy and framework to be used within IST.
The role will:
Oversee all change management initiatives across IST Projects
Provide change management expertise and advice to change champions involved in relevant
projects
Ensure an integrated and coordinated approach to all change initiatives across IST Projects
Define change management frameworks and techniques to be applied through all change
initiatives
Continuously review the change process to identify issues, concerns and successes and alert
executive and key stakeholders to these
Work closely with IST Managers, Superintendents, and Project Leads to develop communication
requirements for the change initiatives
Liaise with relevant Project Managers regarding project timelines and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders of each project in
conjunction with change champions involved in projects
Required to build an internal network with key stakeholders, executives and leaders
Work with external consultants as required to achieve change initiative outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
Extensive knowledge of and ability to implement best practice change management strategies
Highly developed written and verbal skills
Extensive experience in negotiation, coaching and facilitation skills
Ability to influence, guide and lead others through change
Highly developed skills to quickly assess organisational and stakeholder needs and respond
accordingly.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and planning skills
Demonstrated project planning and management skills
Thorough understanding of how organisational culture, structure and processes impact change
initiatives and ability to shape change plans accordingly
Highly motivated and driven to achieve results through teamwork and collaboration
Relevant graduate degree
Desirable
- Recognised change management practitioner certification
- Extensive experience in managing and implementing large‐scale change within diverse
organisations
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management
