General Manager

About the role

The General Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of service delivery and organisational management, including compliance, quality, workforce leadership, and financial sustainability. You will play a key role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives while ensuring the organisation continues to meet and exceed NDIS Quality and Practice Standards.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing strategic leadership aligned with organisational values and mission
- Overseeing the delivery and continuous improvement of disability services
- Leading and mentoring multidisciplinary teams to achieve participant goals
- Ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory frameworks
- Managing risk, budgets, and resources effectively
- Fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders and the community

Essential Criteria

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:

- A minimum of 5 years in a senior management role within disability, community, or health services
- Tertiary qualifications in Disability, Health, Community Services, or a related field
- Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans
- Strong understanding of financial management, corporate governance, and risk frameworks
- Demonstrated leadership with a focus on mentoring, accountability, and driving positive outcomes
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proven experience in computer literacy across several platforms.
- Commitment to the NDIS Code of Conduct and participant-focused service delivery
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence

- 6-month probation period
- Must be eligible to work in Australia
- Cleared Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
