- 5+ years’ program management experience specifically in Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (ID&E) and LGBTQi+ Inclusion
- Experience developing and owning strategy, end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- The ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment
- A demonstrated track record of managing multiple concurrent projects and driving them to completion.
- Collaborative skills and an ability to influence without authority while also being able to work with significant autonomy

The main responsibility of the role is to build and execute on the data-driven ID&E global LGBTQi+ goals, strategy and initiatives for AWS countries and hold leaders accountable to the execution of these goals and initiatives in order to transform the culture.

Job Summary:

As part of the AWS Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (ID&E) global team, you will lead the strategy formulation, launch, creation of an implementation framework, execution and reporting of global LGBTQi+ inclusion programs and goals. You will also be responsible for the results of those programs and the impact they have on our builders and the business.

These will range across HR processes, including but not limited to: partnering with diversity recruiting work streams to ideate and execute on hiring programs, working with ID&E Business Partners to build awareness and a culture of inclusion locally, researching best practices to set bold direction for LGBTQi+ inclusion, and collaborating with our Affinity Groups (Employee Resource Groups) to implement strategies that improve our builders’ experience holistically. You will also be responsible for helping us establish a strong external brand as an employer of choice for the LGBTQI+ community and drive thought leadership both externally and internally.

This role will report into the AWS Regional ID&E Leader, and partner closely with the Business leaders, the Talent Acquisition organization, HR Business Partners, Compliance, Legal, the Amazon Global Diversity Equity and Inclusion Organization, Amazon Accessibility/Accommodation teams, Employer branding and other external and internal stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop, implement and track progress of AWS Global LGBTQi+ Inclusion strategy and goals
- Partner with Business, HR & ID&E Business Partners to develop, implement and monitor programs that support LGBTQi+ hiring, retention and development
- Partner with the ID&E Business Partners to deploy awareness raising strategies on LGBTQi+ inclusion considering unique context in each region and location
- Develop guidelines and playbook relevant to LGBTQi+ inclusion
- Partnership/Advisory: Represent the AWS ID&E team and serve as a resource for business stakeholders in LGBTQi+ inclusion related discussions internally and with partners and customers externally
- Connect with Amazon LGBTQi+ Affinity Groups(Glamazon) or other internal LGBTQi+ communities to elevate their voice and create synergy between their programs and the global LGBTQi+ strategy
- Provide consultation and partnership to business leaders/AWS customers on best practices around LGBTQi+ inclusion
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of ID&E & LGBTQi+ inclusion principles
- Knowledge of LGBTQi+ legislations across countries
- Demonstrated throught leadership in the LGBTQi+ Inclusion area
