As a Floater, you'll embark on an exciting journey, working at a cluster of locations, with children of various age groups, and igniting young minds along the way.
You will be working at beautiful Long Day Care centres located in North Parramatta, Sydney Olympic park, Werntworth point and Ryde.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide support and assistance to teachers and educators across various classrooms and age groups.
- Assist in the implementation of educational programs and activities.
- Promote a safe and nurturing environment for children in accordance with relevant guidelines and policies.
- Collaborate with other educators to ensure the smooth operation of the centre.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians.
- Observe and monitor children's development and behaviour, reporting any concerns to the relevant staff members.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of classroom materials and resources.
- Follow the centre's policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and hygiene.
**Requirements**:
- Working towards or completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification).
- Must be available to work 5 days per week on rotating shifts between 7am - 6pm.
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- First Aid and CPR certification (desired)
- Strong passion for working with children and contributing to their development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and work collaboratively with a range of teaching staff.
- Flexibility to work across different age groups and classrooms.
- Understanding of and commitment to providing high-quality care and education for children.
