Join us on Parramatta’s positive transformation journey by supporting the operations of Council's community aquatic and wellness facility - The Parramatta Aquatic Centre (The PAC).

This position conducts day-to-day general cleaning tasks across the facility and takes pride in the provision of high-quality spaces for our customers to enjoy by always ensuring that facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

On a daily basis, your main task will be:

- Perform various cleaning actions such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and bathroom/changeroom cleaning and restocking
- Completing scheduled checks of all areas of the facility to ensure cleanliness and stock levels are adequate
- Management of damaged or broken equipment, ensuring it is actioned or reported in a timely manner through the established process
- Undertake emergency cleaning of the facilities or furniture throughout the facility
- Provide maintenance to the grounds of the facilities, ensuring they are well presented at all times. This includes basic gardening and rubbish removal

**About you**

**Required Qualifications include**:

- School and/or Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
- NSW Working with Children Check Clearance

**Desired experience and skills include**:

- Strong customer service focus and sound communication skills
- Proven experience as a facility cleaner with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of the use and safety measures required of various cleaning chemicals
- Good knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery

**What’s on offer**

We have two permanent positions on offer with an attractive annual remuneration from $57,006 to $62,796, plus 10.5% super.
