As a Mixologist at The Brass Monkey on Lonsdale, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and delivering high-quality cocktails to our customers. Your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for mixology will contribute to the overall success of our establishment. This position offers an opportunity for career progression and development within our dynamic team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a diverse range of cocktails according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including proper storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations, answer inquiries, and ensure a memorable experience.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient service and uphold our standards of excellence.
- Contribute ideas for new cocktail creations and seasonal menu updates.
- Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and ordering supplies as needed.
- Continuously strive to enhance your mixology skills and knowledge through training and self-improvement initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a bar or restaurant environment.
- Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, ingredients, and preparation techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service experiences.
- To work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service of alcohol (e.g., RSA).
- Full working rights within Australia

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $26.87 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates
