Applicants for this position should:
- Have relevant tertiary qualifications
- At least 3 years relevant experience
- AQF Certificate III including at least three years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV
- Shaping and cutting metal.
- Polishing and smoothing jewellery.
- Repairing worn or broken jewellery.
- Securing stones and gemstones into settings.
- Handcrafting jewellery pieces together by soldering, riveting, and other techniques.
- Engraving designs on various jewellery items like rings, bracelets, and brooches.
- Refining old jewellery into updated styles.
- Examining designs and specifications for jewellery and metal objects.
- Creating angles and facets on stones, followed by polishing.
Pay: $76,500.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
