About you
We are looking for someone who can help us develop the strategic asset management plan to support the achievement of the Argyle Housing Strategic Plan and who can demonstrate actions that will reflect the values that Argyle Housing places on its people, teamwork, and our commitment to superior customer service.
**Description**:
Primary Purpose
A core focus of the role is to assist in the development and implementation of a Strategic Asset Management framework to most effectively manage our asset base across the asset life cycle informing retain, invest or divest decisions, while cognisant that the assets within our portfolio are people’s homes. Once the framework is developed this role will primarily provide analysed data to inform strategic asset management decision making, utilising the framework.
**This role will be responsible for**:
- Assist in the design and development of a strategic asset management framework which encapsulates the process, risks, measures including social and environment measures to inform asset management decisions and mitigates asset risk.
- Using the data, develop the Strategic Asset Management Plan including annual Planned Maintenance programs of work to maintain the portfolio
- Maintain the Asset Database (SPM) to produce relevant condition grade and other reporting for the portfolio
- Manage the relationship with LAHC regarding the 20 yr lease program including condition assessments and portfolio
- Assist in tender preparations and provide progress and adhoc reports as required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of strategic asset management framework, data, analysis and decision making processes.
**Skills and Experiences**:
Selection Criteria/Essential Skills - To ensure success in this position, you must have:
- 5+ years in a similar role
- Relevant qualifications in property economics, engineering or construction
- Sound understanding of the Community Housing or Social Housing Sectors
- Superior data analytics and understanding of property asset life cycles
- Excellent communication skills, including written communication
- Understanding of Project Management principles
- Use of Asset Management Software programs
