Senior role to lead commercial management and negotiation of complex contracts for Federal Government.
**Your new company**
This role, as Head of Commercial sits within a global technology organisation and you will be responsible for the commercial management and negotiation of several large and complex, new and existing across Federal Government programs.

**Your new role**
This position will see you liaise with the Senior Leadership team and Executive across the enterprise. You will also be responsible for managing a commercial team and will bring experience in the following areas:

- Commercial management of large and complex Federal Government program and projects.
- Lead advanced contract negotiations, as required;
- Provide expert contract and commercial advice on prime and subcontracts;
- Developing, articulating and holding contracting positions based upon the contract terms;
- Develop contracting strategies including the development of methodology to reduce or mitigate program risk, increase cash flow and increase program profitability.
- Identify commercial and contractual issues or opportunities within contracts/subcontracts, and address them in a timely and effective manner.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role you will have extensive experience leading commercial programs to maximise revenue, leadership experience, significant stakeholder management and experience working to the Australian Federal Government. A baseline clearance at minimum is essential to be considered.

**What you'll get in return**
This position is only available for a contract period from 6-9 Months. Attractive hourly rate on offer.
