About the role
In this role you will build on community commitment, demonstrating a pro-active approach to sourcing business and developing the team, and growing Whitehorse Community Enterprises Ltd (WCEL), the Community Bank Company.
As the General Manager / Community Company Manager you will build the strategic plan to gain market share for the localised area and identify strategy and initiatives to grow the business, which includes lending and deposits portfolio growth in line with business expectations, and you will work with the Board to develop and implement the yearly strategic and financial plans for the business. You will lead the professional team of staff to deliver solutions for customers, establish sustainable relationships and deepen existing relationships in our local community. Accountable for multiple distribution channels delivering tailored financial solutions for our customers.
About you
Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop highly effective teams in a service environment
Demonstrable experience in developing and executing strategies to maintain and build business growth
Highly developed relationship building skills proactively developing valued internal and external networks and community partnerships
Experience reporting to Board
Demonstrated governance and reporting experience
Exposure to Banking and Finance including consumer lending will be advantageous
Tertiary qualifications in Business/Finance or related discipline will be advantageous
