Around the Clock Care and Support aim at improving the quality of life of people living with disability by allowing them to continue to live independently in their own homes and keep them socially connected for as long as possible.

At Around the Clock Care and Support we are expanding our services and as such we are looking for compassionate and dedicated community support workers who want to work with an impressive organisation and who are committed to lifting the standards of care provided in the community.

Our clients rely on our community support workers to provide their services in a respectful and compassionate manner and in line with the care plan requirements. We are looking for new team members who are dedicated to structuring their work days and hours to assist with delivering the best services possible to our clients:
**Responsibilities and duties**
- Experience of working with clients with complex behaviours and mental health issues
- Flexible and available to work anytime in the day, night and weekends
- Experience providing personal and domestic care for high need clients
- Experience handling challenging and difficult behaviours with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Other responsibilities include transport, social support, meal prep and medication management

**Essential requirements**
- Cert III in Individual Support or Cert IV in Disability Support.
- 1 years experience (Ideal)
- Valid police check
- Current First aid + CPR certificate
- Driving license + Comprehensive car insurance + Reliable car
- Valid working with children check

**Competitive rates of pay**

**Job Type**: Permanent Casual

**Full time and part time hours available**

**Salary**: $26.00 to $32.00 /hour

Current available hours are

Monday to Friday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and Saturdays 12:30 PM To 3:30 PM

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Temp to perm

**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (required)

**Experience**:

- Community support: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
