One of William Adam’s most significant focal points in our Strategic Plan is investing in our people. You will play a significant role by delivering quality and comprehensive machine operator and safety training to our team and customers across Victoria and Tasmania.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to our Learning and Development Manager, you will assess training needs, design content, plan and deliver courses on the full range of Cat machines, equipment as well as all safety related courses.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Conduct operator training for employees and external customers
- Partner closely with our Managers to plan relevant, timely and effective training
- Conduct skills gap analysis to identify training opportunities
- Design, build and customise operator and safety training packages
- Participate in customer events and trade shows as required
- Domestic and local travel to our branches and customer sites

**ABOUT YOU**

You will be an experienced and engaging **Operator and Safety Trainer** with heavy machinery industry experience, someone who thrives on developing people and ensuring our customers success.

**To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience & attributes**:

- Experience designing and delivering training to meet diverse needs
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment
- Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to positively engage with people at all levels
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office products, various training packages.
- A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
- A willingness to learn new technology and work with a diverse team
- Certificate III Mobile Plant Technology desirable

You will have the opportunity to work closely with Caterpillar to continue to develop your skills and knowledge, while working with the latest state of the art technology.

This is a fantastic permanent full-time opportunity based in either **Burnie,** **Clayton, Traralgon or Laverton.**
