We are looking for someone to join our small team as a workshop fitter in Montrose TAS. This role is for a person who enjoys working with their hands and is eager to learn new skills. This position is great for a Mechanically minded person who is self-motivated and has good attention to detail.

It is a Full time permanent opportunity for someone who is looking for career progression as we provide on the job training by supportive and experienced staff. As a workshop fitter you will be reporting to the branch manager.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- **Machine **driveline components
- **Assemble, **weld, and balance driveshafts.
- **General **workshop duties as required.

**Who are you?**
- **A Mechanical aptitude **in either Cars or Machinery
- **Experience** operating manual lathes and welding equipment is **advantageous**.
- **Demonstrate** a high degree of flexibility with job tasks.
- **Ability to participate** in ongoing training and be open to new ideas.
- **A willingness to work** as part of a team, and do whatever is required, to help achieve business targets.
- **Proven **safety and quality focus and able to perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with company's polices & procedures.
