**About the role**
Located in Coorparoo we are seeking disability support workers with a strong background & understanding of behaviours. You will be assisting our male client who has a ABI with all aspects of daily living as well as accessing the community. Client is 2:1 The shifts consist of AM, PM, active ND & a inactive sleepover shift. We are seeking staff who are available on Monday, Thursday & Friday to fill the following shifts.
0700-1200
0700-1500
1500-2200 including sleepover shift
2200-0700

**Your key responsibilities**
Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Worker who can undertake the following key responsibilities:
- Manual handling
- Personal care
- Continence & bowel management
- Medication administration
- Domestic assistance
- Behavioural reporting
**About you**
To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
- Previous disability experience (minimum 2 years)
- Manual handling experience (essential)
- Behavioural experience
- Personal care experience
- Current First aid and CPR
- Yellow card/NDIS Screening Card
- Manual handling certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Medication certificate (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Orientation Module (or willing to obtain)
We are also looking for someone with great communication skills, who works well in a team, has a caring and supportive nature, and is client-focused.
