Casual Stocktaker

RGIS is a leading provider of stocktaking services in Australia and around the globe. We are currently seeking committed and energetic individuals to join our casual stocktake team in Hobart with immediate starts available. We offer flexible and varied shifts according to your flexibility.

Often we conduct stocktakes in other areas of Tasmania (Launceston, Devonport, Burnie), for those stocktakes we pay a travel allowance and offer carpooling to and from the site. For stocktakes in places requiring long distance travel we offer twin share accommodation as well as a meal allowance.

As an RGIS team member, you will be stocktaking a wide variety of retail outlets across the Hobart and regional areas. Most stocktakes occur in major shopping centres and retail stores across all areas of Hobart. Full training will be provided, and you do not need to have previous stocktaking experience. Every day is a different and exciting experience with RGIS

What we are looking for:

- Due to the nature of retail stocktaking, you must be okay with a casual work schedule and working mornings and nights.
- Staff who recognise that work schedules are flexible and can vary from one shift a week to multiple shifts a week.
- Own transport
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Good attention to detail
- An enthusiastic team player with a desire to provide excellent customer service
- The ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and count stock safely at different heights using the RGIS handheld terminal.
- Staff who love to travel 25% of the work will be outside of Hobart with overnight stay required.
- Staff who are happy to stay in twin share accommodation for overnight jobs located in Northern Tasmania. We pay for accommodation and pay a $55 per night meal allowance.
- Customer service is a key value we have at RGIS. We aim to provide our clients with the highest level of customer service possible. Being able to provide this level of service is a key component of the role
- Good mobility and fitness. There can be a lot of walking required throughout locations, accessing high and low stock, climbing ladders etc

Please note most stock takes run for between 4 to 6 hours; however, this varies depending on the client.
