Are you passionate about supporting the holistic development of children? Samford Valley Steiner School (SVSS) is seeking a Teacher Aide to join our dedicated team in a part-time capacity, starting in Term 1, 2025.

**About the Role**
As a Teacher Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in delivering a Steiner curriculum that fosters the intellectual, emotional, and social growth of students. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation, supporting arts, crafts, and outdoor learning activities.
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Encouraging social-emotional growth, helping students develop resilience, social skills, and positive relationships.
- Helping maintain a calm and organised classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and engagement.
- Assisting in observing and reporting on student progress, communicating key observations to the teacher and support team.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Experience as a Teacher Aide or in a similar student support role.
- Patience, empathy, and a calm, nurturing approach to working with children.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
- Flexibility and creativity in adapting to students’ individual needs.
- A strong commitment to the holistic development of children, supporting their well-being and learning.
