**That's where you come in...**
The QA Manager is an integral of the Ingleburn site's leadership team, providing leadership for Quality ensuring compliance to quality standards and procedures. Key to success will be leading your team of QA Technicians in the establishment and maintenance of standards and guidelines, and monitoring of the Production environment. A priority will be driving quality through the engagement of employees at all levels directed towards the implementation of food manufacturing standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and monitor QA objectives and activities supporting RPFC’s corporate business plan and policies
- Provide leadership and direction to your team, developing them into a high performing team
- Conduct internal checks to ensure CCPs are being performed in accordance with procedures
- Conduct routine inspections of factory, its processes and product in accordance with HACCP and SQF Standards
- Maintain and enhance the Quality Assurance System and documentation
- Prepare, review and monitor policies, procedures and work instructions
- Report, analyse and present data
- Liaise with customers, auditors and external parties as required
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints

**About you**:

- Applied Science Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or an equivalent relevant tertiary qualification
- Extensive knowledge of quality systems and documentation
- Working knowledge of SQF and HACCP
- Experience in internal auditing and GMP practices
- Ideally you would have pet food/meat industry or high-risk food manufacturing experience
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Computer competency in Microsoft Office programs
- A curious nature with high decision quality and ability to stand alone
- Driven to make a difference through influencing others
