Our well established, incredibly busy, yet happy team in Norwood is seeking a casual Dental Assistant to join the team. Experience is preferred, but not essential.
Our team of practitioners and support staff offer a comprehensive, fully coordinated approach to our patients and their treatment requirements. We are focussed on providing convenience to our patients in a relaxed atmosphere and will always go the extra mile to ensure our patients are as comfortable as possible.
For this
**Casual role** you must be able and flexible to work weekdays, evenings and Saturdays as our hours of operation are 7.30am to 8.30pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 7.30am to 5.30pm.
The DA role will work with a variety of Dentists, Oral Health Therapists and Hygienists. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Chairside assisting
- Sterilisation and infection control
- Preparing patients and facilities for dental treatment
This role will suit qualified Dental Assistants or those who are interested in starting a new career and who are great team players, passionate and keen to learn.
- Have excellent communication skills and computer literacy
- Have the ability to quickly build rapport with patients
- Have a Cert III in Dental Assisting and at least 12 months’ experience as a dental assistant - preferred but not essential
- Be well presented and well organised with a strong work ethic
- Have a current National Police Check or WWCC and an up-to-date COVID immunisation record
