**Who are we looking for? **Due to an internal promotion, we have an outstanding opportunity for a part-time People Business Partner (0.6 FTE). Reporting into the Regional People Leader - ACT, SNSW & PNG and supporting the broader region across several offices, this is your opportunity to be both a strategic and operational partner to the business. The role will be based in Canberra.

If you are an experienced, passionate and collaborative HR professional, we are keen to discuss this role with you. There’s scope to be involved in national, key initiatives whilst working directly with your dedicated client groups. You will champion best practice people management and provide people services to complement operational and strategic needs and requirements. This diverse role will give you an opportunity to further develop your HR skills and experience.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support the business by planning and executing People plans and working through solutions to result in successful business outcomes.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support leaders to address and mediate issues and respond to individual staff queries.
- Help facilitate talent management plans and activities to align with business needs.
- Assist with developing and building a high-performance culture and increasing staff wellbeing and engagement
- Plan and deliver onboarding and training activities, regional events and initiatives.
- Develop, report and analyse HR metrics.

**About you**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications - ideally in HR, Psychology or Business paired with experience preferably in a professional services environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the effective delivery of people advice and strong business partner orientation.
- Proven ability to exercise discretion and maturity when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and networking skills.
- Presentation and project management skills.
