**About the Role**:
We have an exceptional opportunity for a
**Reman Core Inspector** to join the
**Brisbane Parts Department**. You will ensure that our customers receive the highest quality support and service, for Caterpillar Parts. The primary focus of this role is to achieve targeted process cycle time, and maximum financial return for the customer and the company, with the processing of all Caterpillar Remanufactured core returns. This role is a permanent Monday to Friday role, with reasonable additional overtime as required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring reman core returns are received and completing inspections within the agreed timeframe
- Working in both CAT and Hastings Deering systems to process cores
- Managing customer expectations and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
- Provide support and updates to customers regarding remanufactured core credits, credit downgrades, rejections or add charges
- Adhere and follow all processes as it relates to ‘credited’ Warranty Cat remanufactured cores
- Create, update and check all shipments are updated and shipped in designated timeframe

**Required Skills and Competencies**:

- Demonstrated experience in CAT Parts and associated equipment products, parts and services
- A mechanical aptitude is preferred and advantageous
- Previous industry experience in heavy machinery, mining, building or construction is desirable
- Forklift and Crane ticket highly desirable and or have the ability to acquire
- Ability to work autonomously and a high level of motivation with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong focus on customer service and relations and excellent communication skills
- Proven stakeholder and customer engagement with a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism and confidence
- Strong level of computer and database experience, working industry systems and Microsoft Office
