**Position Summary**_

As a Psychosocial Recovery Coach, you will provide individualised support to people with a disability. You will work together with participants and their therapy team to achieving their goals and build a life that is not defined by diagnosis or disability. You will assist participants to implement the supports within their plan while building their capacity, managing the impact of their disability in their day to day lives, and improving their health, well-being, and participation in the community.
- **Key Responsibilities for this position include**:_
- Coaching to build daily living skills and personal capacity, including motivation, strengths, resilience and decision making.
- Provide practical support in implementing a range of goals determined by the participant, including life skills development, attending appointments and social skill building.
- Provide access to activities and opportunities that promote independence and choice and control.
- Support participants to engage with both mainstream and NDIS funded services and programs.

- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current First Aid/ CPR
- Working with Children Check
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience in the disability sector
- Demonstrated high level of verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, empathetic and willing to learn new skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $33.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Preston, VIC 3072: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
