**About**

**The Company**

Our client is a very successful civil construction firm working across civil construction and mining services throughout Western Australia. Due to current expansion plans they are now seeking a Site Supervisor for their growing successful business - this will be a site-based role.

**Duties**
- Undertake daily planning for daily task delivery as directed by the Project Manager and Superintendent.
- Recruit all blue collar personal in accordance with the Project mobilisation plan.
- Monitor daily task completion of site team.
- Work with Project Manager to assess daily progress against the Project schedule.
- Work with the Project Manager and Superintendent to complete daily inspection of work quality to ensure engineering designs, contract specifications and regulatory requirements are maintained.
- Co-ordinate site operational personnel to ensure daily task delivery.
- Conduct daily Pre-Start Meetings (and weekly Toolbox Meetings as required)
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment and provide coaching as required.
- Work with the Project Manager & Superintendent to coordinate any subcontract or vendors service delivery onsite.

**Skills & Experience**
- Excellent customer service and communication skills relationships.
- Strong leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to lead and safely manage site operational teams.
- Ability and willingness to operate machinery when required.
- Ability to work outside in remote locations.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in civil, earthmoving and mining services industries.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience coordinating and supervising teams/operations in a variety of civil and construction projects.
- Understanding of bulk earthworks, crushed rock placement, road building and drainage installation.
- Previous project management experience and an ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Mechanical aptitude and previous experience in operating earthmoving plant and equipment.
- Demonstrated understanding of and compliance with Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems.
- Senior First Aid certificate.
