Innovations are a key part of the Unilever strategy to win in the marketplace with Customers and Consumers alike. Finance Excellence plays a key role in building Business Cases (BC), measuring and tracking performance of innovations in market.

We are looking for an Innovation Analyst who will be responsible for supporting Innovation Performance management by preparing the level one insight for Post Launch Evaluations (PLEs) and driving best practice through training cross functional stakeholders on building a financial business case.

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide a framework for Innovation BC preparation, including recommendations on key BC inputs (Volume, Cannibalisation, Exchange Rate, Supply Chain Costs, Marketing Investment and Business Waste assumptions)- Consolidate and review at a top level all financial business case for new product innovations and renovations (expected sales, costing, profit modelling), ensuring BC assumptions are reasonable and pressure test financial models with the Business Unit (BU) Finance Teams- Lead cross category training on Business case best practice and improve the financial acumen of key non-Finance business partners- Provide direct partnering to BU Finance Teams to give them the ability to challenge and provide perspective to Marketing Teams on innovation BC- Be the ANZ Champion of Innovation Dashboard and provide decent business insights of Innovation Funnel to stakeholders include the pipelines and key financials comparisons after launch- Embed the rigor and discipline around Post-Launch Evaluations (PLEs) in Marketing teams and work in partnership with Marketing teams to develop insights from PLEs to improve the performance of future innovations- Drive Continuous Improvement on the BC tools and BC preparation process and support the implementation of a consistent approach across categories as well as streamline business case creation and post launch tracking

Does this sound like You- Minimum 3 years post tertiary experience and previous commercial finance/ business partnering experience- Chartered Accountant (CA/ CPA), either fully qualified or partial qualification is desired- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills- FMCG experience
