**About the Role**

This is a one-day shift to provide a support to our participant lives in Forest Lake with Acquired Brain Injury and can mobiles herself. The participant is requesting for an experienced Female support worker to assist with community access, personal care and help identifying activities suitable for the participant.

**About You**

You are friendly and reliable with a good work ethic. You pride yourself on providing personal care with dignity and respect. You are patience and confident to assist participants with mental health and behaviour of concern. You understand the importance of providing individualised support within a home environment. Can adapt to different situations? Think outside the box to solve problems?

Shifts available: Monday - 9am - 12pm

**Your skills and experience include**:

- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Experience in BOC, mental health, positive behaviour
- Able to communicate and assist non-verbal client.
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
- Must have a QLD driver’s licence and own reliable transport
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS ‘Worker Orientation’ module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
