Trainee Meat Inspector

**The duties of the role include**:

- Inspect animal carcasses, meat and meat products to ensure compliance with government and industry standards with respect to quality and health.
- Ensure all compliance requirements of meat inspection are met.
- Undertake and successfully graduate from a Certificate 3 in Meat Processing (Meat Safety) or Certificate 4 in Meat Processing (Meat Safety).
- Work in conjunction with our Process Partners to ensure continued delivery of exceptional products.

Previous experience in any of the following would be an advantage, but not mandatory:

- A background or previous training in a related field such as a science discipline, veterinary or animal science training or similar
- Knife skills including sharpening, boning or slicing
- Experience in meat processing, butchery or small good making

**Salary**: $55,524.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Goulburn NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
