Elliott Gray are extremely pleased to be bringing you an amazing opportunity. On this occasion we are working with a not-for-profit organisation centred around animal welfare. Can you guess who this might be? That’s right It’s the fantastic team located at Weston RSPCA They are a dedicated group of individuals working under the peak body of RSPCA Australia. Other than rehoming animals that require a lot of love through their shelters, they also work toward educating the community regarding responsible pet ownership.
And this where you come in
As the Volunteer Coordinator, your job is to manage the HR function for the volunteers working with the RSPCA. You will be working with onboarding new volunteers, coordinating their training, and providing the inductions for specific role. The Volunteer Coordinator will as so have the opportunity to take on and further develop the small sales team around setting sales targets and mentoring the staff in efficient selling techniques. You will be working closely with all the volunteers; This is to ensure their effort and hard work is being appreciated by the business and the volunteers themselves feel like a valued member of the organisation.
To be a successful applicant for this role you will need to have initiative as your strongest skill, and you will demonstrate confidence in your ability to be able to establish relationships with individuals across the organisation. Human resource experience and knowledge is desirable, and you will need to be able to obtain a working vulnerable people’s card. Therefore, it will be a matter of demonstrating your coordination experience, management attitude and ability to crack a joke and build rapport.
