**About the Role**

PremiAir has a full-time, permanent position available with an immediate start for a committed, reliable, and flexible Fitter/Mechanic with experience in the pump rental and solutions industry, to join our Pump team based in Newcastle.

Reporting directly to the Department Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to service and maintain a wide variety of pumping and associated ancillary equipment.

**Duties**

The main duties and responsibilities of the role include:

- Repair of Pumps and associated equipment to PremiAir and OEM standards.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing on pumps and associated equipment both in the workshop and on-site/field service environments.
- Testing of Pumps and associated equipment and the ability to maintain accurate and timely service records.
- Assist PremiAir branches nationally and provide customer support including remote fault diagnosis.
- Other appropriate duties as required.

**Skills and Experience**
- Trade Qualifications - Fitter & Turner/Diesel Mechanic or similar is essential
- A forklift licence is essential as is a valid and current driver licence
- Can work unsupervised and can follow instructions
- Is self-motivated and takes pride in their work
- Is reliable, punctual and has excellent work ethics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Previous experience and success in a similar role and a good network within the Pump industry will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicants will be appointed primarily based on attitude and the desire to assist the business in the next phase of growth.
