If you’re the person we’re looking for to join us, then we know these values will resonate with you too. **The 2IC role** As a 2IC or Second in Charge, you will assist the Director of Service in delivering an exceptional experience for the children in our care. This will include: - Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program (programming) - Support with ensuring your program in compliance according to industry regulations. - Interact with our parents and help them with enquiries wherever possible - Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies, etc when the Director can't attend. - Play and have FUN with primary school aged children - Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program The hours for this role are Monday to Friday: **After School Hours only** 2:50pm - 6:30pm - There will be an option for casual work during before school hours **You** - You’re passionate about kids, have loads of energy and can just love to have fun - You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude - Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you - You have outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written - You are looking for stable, permanent part time hours - up to 25 per week. **The perks** - We are an "Employer of Choice" in the outside of school hours care industry - our culture is second to none - We support your growth and offer incredible opportunities to develop your career - we fill 60% of our vacancies with internals. - Ongoing training and mentoring to help you succeed - Flexible work arrangements - great to combine with your studies. - Be part of the vibrant and passionate TeamKids community, and make friends at work. - Discounts galore - retail, fuel, technology, movies, gym memberships and more. - 95% off TeamKids care for your own children.
