Retail & Nursery Assistant (Casual)

**Location**: Royston Park, SA
**Hours**: Monday-Wednesday (with potential for more days in the new year)

We’re looking for a motivated, plant-savvy team member to join our crew at **Exotic Botanic**. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with people and getting their hands dirty. You’ll spend your days helping customers choose the right plants, keeping our nursery looking its best, and lending a hand wherever it’s needed.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Assisting customers with plant selection, care advice, and product recommendations
- Maintaining plant health — watering, pest checking, and general nursery upkeep
- Helping with deliveries and yard work (forklift use included if licensed)
- Restocking, tidying, and keeping displays looking their best
- Creating a welcoming, helpful environment for all customers

**What we’re looking for**
- Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
- Horticulture certificate _or_ strong plant knowledge and hands-on experience
- Ability to identify common pests and plant issues
- Forklift licence _or_ willingness to obtain one
- Comfortable working outdoors and lifting moderate weights
