**About the role**:
We have a permanent part time opportunity in our Strategy and Growth team for an experienced Grant Writer with an interest in forging relationships with potential partners and funders to achieve Lifeblood’s overall strategic objective.

As a Partnerships Manager and Grant Writer you will be responsible for developing compelling research propositions, identifying funding pathways from various sources, and advocating for Lifeblood’s growth objectives. You will be actively engaging with external stakeholders to build relationships to secure funding while ensuring Lifeblood’s culture of excellence, health and safety, employee and stakeholder satisfaction, and loyalty is maintained and reinforced along the way.

This role can be based in any one of our national offices with capacity to work from home.

Tertiary qualification in Business, Science, or a related discipline.

Experience managing funding and reporting milestones for awarded research funding.

Demonstrate knowledge of various frameworks for funding clinical research and product development.

Be skilled in networking and relationship management with stakeholders in a healthcare context, including government departments and philanthropic organisations.

Exhibit excellent advocacy and stakeholder influencing skills.

Think strategically and creatively to identify and shape feasible (fundable) programs.

Possess problem-solving skills and take a proactive approach.

Be an effective communicator with strong oral and written communication skills.

Display a passion for healthcare and embody Lifeblood’s leadership principles.
