**Who are we looking for?**

We’re looking for a **multiple Ecologists at varying levels of experience **to join our **NSW Natural Resources & Agriculture team **, with the flexibility to be working from one of our many offices throughout the NSW region. Opportunities also exist for ecologists in other states who have NSW experience.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Biodiversity impact assessment and offsetting for high profile major projects and preparation of Biodiversity Stewardship Agreements.
- Provision of advice and direction regarding relevant regulatory frameworks and project approval pathways.
- Leading, or assisting, with the delivery of proposals and technical reports for clients.
- Delivering projects on time and within budget and to required quality standards.
- Maintaining relationships with clients and regulatory agencies.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Experience in biodiversity impact assessment and offsetting
- Demonstrated skills in the development and delivery of effective ecological assessment, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
- Experience in botanical survey and vegetation management, fauna survey and monitoring, or a combination of both
- Knowledge of NSW and Commonwealth regulatory frameworks and policy, with respect to listed threatened matters, biodiversity assessment, offsetting, and management.
- Knowledge of ecological communities across various NSW environments
- Collaborative approach to delivering projects.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- a team-player who builds rapport with internal & external stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications in botany, zoology, ecology, or related discipline
