Shangri-La Sydney is searching for an experienced and passionate **Head Waiter** to join our award-winning **Altitude Restaurant**, located high above the city with breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour.
As Head Waiter, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering a world-class dining experience. You’ll lead by example, guiding the front-of-house team to provide attentive, intuitive service in an elegant, fine-dining environment.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Supervise daily service operations, ensuring seamless and professional guest experiences
- Train, mentor, and support wait staff to uphold luxury service standards
- Liaise with kitchen and management teams to coordinate smooth service flow
- Maintain deep knowledge of food and wine offerings to assist guests confidently
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests with grace and efficiency
**About You**:
- Previous experience in a fine-dining leadership role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for exceptional service and attention to detail
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-end environment
- Knowledge of wine and food pairing is highly desirable
