Medical Receptionist

A medical centre in Harbour Town Premium outlets is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team.

Key requirements:

- Previous experience with Best Practice and medical reception experience is a bonus
- Manage appointment schedules
- Working knowledge of Medicare item numbers for general practice
- Assisting clients with booking appointments with specialists and other providers.
- Work effectively within a team and also able to work independently.
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Display a professional manner via phone and with patients in the clinic setting
- Able to multitask and display fantastic organisational skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Scheduling appointments and processing payments.
- Banking
- Organising incoming correspondence and directing to the appropriate health professional.
- Liaising with patients and their families and assisting with arrangements for their care.
- Assisting our GP's and allied health providers with required administration tasks.

The position offers approximately 2 days per week to start with more hours being available in the new year.

Must have flexibility to cover sick and annual leave.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
