**PERMANENT PART TIME 24 HOURS PER WEEK**
Alexandra District Health (ADH) is the major health service within the Shire of Murrindindi and has a long and proud history in health-related service provision to the area, providing medical and surgical care in a wide range of specialties, as well as multiple primary health programs.
As a key member of the Finance Team, the Finance Coordinator provides support and assistance to the Finance Manager and (as required) assists to co-ordinate and support the Finance team.
The Finance Coordinator will work with the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the ADH Finance function and support the successful co-ordination of the month end / year end finance / accounting processes to ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
This role will also be fundamental in supporting the Finance Manager with the preparation and provision of relevant financial information, analysis and advice that will assist the Executive, Leadership team and other internal and external finance stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have completed or be working towards the completion of a tertiary qualification, preferably in a business and/or finance related discipline.
- Have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in a relevant role which aligns with the position’s key responsibilities.
- Demonstrate excellent Microsoft Office skills (in particular, use of excel, word and outlook).
- Have a working knowledge of finance / accounting-based software programs.
You will work in a supportive team located onsite in Alexandra. Flexible work arrangements are supported at Alexandra District Health, flexible hours will be considered.
