**Qualifications & experience**
We are looking for applicants who meet the below criteria:

- An appropriate Certificate of Diploma relevant to the work area
- Food Handling Certificate (preferred)
- Experience working with children and young people
- Budgeting for the program and team

**Tasks & responsibilities**

Each Program Manager is supported by an Area Manager and oversees a team of Youth Disability Support officers by providing them with management and support. The position will be assisting small groups of children and teens with intellectual disabilities:

- Comply with the NDIS Code of Conduct to support participants in ways that are respectful and inclusive
- Coach and build confidence in participants to develop the skills they need, such as cooking, budgeting, and shopping
- Provide personal care, such as mealtimes, toileting or other tasks, responding flexibly to participant preferences
- Manage staff rostering to match worker capabilities with client needs and preference
- Provide debriefing, practice leadership, coaching and feedback on positive behaviour support to team workers
- Support participants to build the confidence and skills to develop social networks and connection

**Mandatory Requirements**
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (State-based)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Worker Check and WWCC
- First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Evidence of COVID 19 Immunisations and booster
- Experience in the profession and evidence of involvement in clinical supervision and professional development as required by the associated body.
