We are looking for a competent personal care assistant to support physically or mentally challenged customers in their everyday lives. The fulfilment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this job.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Medication Adherence**: Ensure clients receive their medications promptly and as prescribed.
- **Mobility Assistance**: Provide support to clients with limited mobility, assisting with transfers, positioning, and daily activities.
- **Personal Care**: Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and feeding, tailored to their individual needs.
- **Therapeutic Support**: Facilitate physical therapy exercises and activities to promote independence and well-being.
- **Nutritional Care**: Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary restrictions or preferences.
- **Home Maintenance**: Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing necessary housekeeping tasks.
- **Communication**: Inform physicians or supervisors of any significant changes in a client's condition or behaviour.

**Qualifications**:

- **Proven Experience**: Demonstrated experience as a Personal Care Assistant.
- **Certificate 3 or 4** in Individual support, Disability Support and/or Ageing
- **Safety-Oriented**: Committed to ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of clients.
- **Practical Skills**: Skilled in household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- **Compassionate Nature**: A positive, compassionate, and empathetic attitude towards clients.
- **Ethical Conduct**: Adherence to high ethical standards and professional conduct.
- **Physical Fitness**: Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
- **Emergency Preparedness**: Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- **Educational Background**: High school diploma or equivalent.
- **Mobility**: A Full Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle for transportation purposes.

- $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
