**Responsibilities**:

- Recruit, manage and supervise medical reception staff
- Liaise with staff & patients.
- Register and update patient demographics with accuracy.
- Facilitate patient flow.
- Must maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.
- Processing billing payments & Medicare Online claims.
- Fill in on Reception when required
- Effectively communicate practice offerings and services.
- Provide induction to new staff and contractors

**Skills & Experience Requirements**:

- Must have worked previously in a similar role r as a Senior Receptionist and looking for the next step up.
- Organized and efficient.
- Excellent phone and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
- Thorough understanding of MBS billing items.
- Current or previous knowledge of PracSoft and Medical Director Practice Management Software an advantage.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Our client is a very fast-paced medical practice, and this position requires a great deal of multi-tasking while always maintaining a professional demeanour. They are a fully computerised, AGPAL accredited General Medical Practice open Monday to Saturday. They require a permanent full time Senior Medical Receptionist / Office Manager to work 5 days in a leading the receptionist team.
