Dental Assistant/receptionist

An excellent opportunity is available for a dental assistant /receptionist to join our growing team.

Our practice has been established in 2018 in Torquay and prides itself on being a family orientated practice and providing care and excellent dental treatment is our priority.

Days can be negotiable and there will also be an opportunity for full time work.
- Setting up for procedures and maintaining the surgeries.
- Assisting the dentists with a wide variety of dental procedures.
- Instrument sterilisation and stock control.
- Cleaning of the surgeries and practice, to maintain infection control standards.
- Assisting in reception/ administration duties when required.
- Helping to maintain accurate records and logs of infection control procedures, reception tasks, lab work etc.
- General cleaning duties.
- A self-motivated, positive attitude.
- Strong work ethic and a great team player.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to learn and take directions.
- Great patient care.

An hourly rate will be awarded to a suitable applicant, based on the experience and attitudes towards learning and work.

We encourage experienced dental assistants or those studying for their Certificate III to apply. More than just clinical skills, we are looking for a person with the right attitude and who values being part of a team.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $24.45 - $36.37 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week

**Experience**:

- Dental reception: 1 year (preferred)
