**Description**:
About the Job

The Yardperson is responsible for cleaning, maintaining and general repair of the assets in the Branch, ensuring they are ready for hire. They are responsible for ensuring the yard is clean and tidy and following correct safe operating procedures and practices.

Key Accountabilities
- Maintain the cleanliness of equipment;
- Inspect assets upon return from the customer;
- Refuel assets and carry out maintenance and minor repairs in a timely manner;
- Assist in maintaining effective stock control of assets;
- Foster relationships with key suppliers and contractors;
- Assisting in loading and unloading of equipment;
- Undertake general housekeeping and yard duties.

Skills and Experience
- Forklift licence (essential)
- EWP licence (highly regarded)
- Good communication skills
- Current driver's licence and white card (desirable)
- Experience in loading and unloading of equipment (desirable)
- Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated with a positive attitude towards workplace safety
