**Administrative Support Officer Grade 3/4**

The NSW Personal Injury Commission (Commission) is looking for an Administrative Support Officer to join our Legal and Policy team providing support to the Division Heads.

**About Us**
The Personal Injury Commission (Commission) resolves disputes between people injured in motor accidents and workplaces in NSW, insurers and employers.

The Commission is an independent statutory tribunal within the New South Wales justice system, committed to providing a transparent and independent dispute resolution service.

Resolving disputes justly and efficiently in the shortest time frame is a priority for the Commission. We work with all parties (injured persons, insurers, and employers, where relevant) to discuss ways of achieving this.

The Commission exercises functions in two divisions - the Motor Accidents Division and the Workers Compensation Division. You can read more about the PIC Here.

As noted above, although the Commission is an independent Tribunal, the staff who work in the Tribunal are employed by Department of Customer Service.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Provide administrative support to Division Heads including planning and preparing calendar of events and meetings, internal and external communications, L & D activities (e.g., conference invitations and enrolments), diary management, performance appraisals, complaint investigations, papers, presentations and recruitment actions for members, mediators and merit reviewers.
- Prepare communications from Division Heads to members, mediators, merit reviewers including notifications, bulletins, legal updates, practice and procedure.
- Provide Secretariat function for all member, mediator and merit reviewer meetings.
- Provide Secretariat function for design, preparation and conducting training and conferences for members, mediators and merit reviewers.
- Provide administrative support for preparation and notification of updates to the Member Practice Manual.
- Collect and collate representations and feedback from members, mediators and merit reviewers.

**About you**:

- Experience delivering multiple administrative support activities and services in line with agreed standards.
- Ability to managing competing priorities, complete tasks and meet short deadlines.
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively and maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
- Experience with Microsoft Office apps including Outlook and TEAMS.

Salary Grade 3/4, with the base salary for this role starting at $74,117 base plus superannuation
