Saturday work is a must but no Sundays or public holidays.

A Retail Assistants’ primary role is to support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in the daily running and operation of the store in accordance with RRSS vision and values.

They should conduct themselves in a manner that staff respect them and feel they can come to them with problems, ideas, suggestions, and issues without fear of embarrassment.

They should also strive for and champion a customer excellence culture by always delivering on and exceeding customer expectations. Whilst creating a safe working environment that promotes great performance and positive morale.

**EXTENT OF AUTHORITY, JUDGEMENT & DECISION MAKING**

The position of Retail Assistant makes decisions in accordance with procedures and guidelines and requires the ability to use initiative and operate independently undertaking duties which are within the incumbent's skills, qualifications and experience.

**ACCOUNTABILITY**

The position is accountable to the RRSS Assistant Store Manager and RRSS Store Manager for the achievement of all key responsibilities and duties.

Terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the General Retail Industry Award 2020 and the National Employment Standards (NES).
