**Sports Travel - Sales Consultant**

Destination Sport Experiences, through its’ global sports travel brands Marathon Tours & Travel and Sportive Breaks, caters for those who want to participate in the very best cycling, running and triathlon events across the world. Marathon Tours & Travel and Sportive Breaks offers tours, travel packages, and guaranteed entry to marathons, cycling events, and long-distance triathlons around the world, together with VIP hospitality access to many of the top professional cycling events as well as managing travel programs for mass participation events.

We are a proud partner of many of the Abbott World Marathon Majors and work closely with major sports events organisers across the Globe. Our team are also mad keen runners, cyclists, and triathletes, so we understand the needs of competitors.

Due to an exciting year of growth we are now looking for an experienced** Travel Sales Consultant **who is passionate about offering exceptional levels of service and enjoys creating memorable experiences for our customers.

**As our Travel Sales Consultant you will be responsible for**
- Creating and managing end to end travel bookings tailored to each customer's needs
- Providing excellent levels of customer service experience that can't be felt anywhere else
- Achieving and exceeding set sales targets
- Researching and maintaining an extensive knowledge of travel industry products, systems, and processes
- Proactively responding to and generating enquiries
- Achieving sales targets by offering our clients a range of services and upsell enhancements
- Identifying each client’s needs and preferences to propose products that meet their needs and expectations
- Ensuring sales opportunities are maximised
- Handling enquiries and reservation requests from clients, completing reservations using company-nominated systems
- Giving accurate quotations to each client and effectively convert to booking
- Identifying any operational problems or potential complaints as soon as they are apparent, so that they can be resolved as quickly as possible
- Producing accurate documentation for all bookings
- Responding and following up on all client requests
- Completing all details for each client’s holiday within relevant systems, ensuring that information required is entered accurately and consistently
- Storing accurate information relating to our clients
- Ensuring quality control procedures are maintained and continually improved
- Final document checks before sending out to a client

We are looking for someone who has worked in a similar role, and Travel experience is essential

You must be a clear and confident communicator with confidence in dealing with people at all levels. You'll need to possess great organization and time management skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to own & manage your own workload and it is essential you have previous Travel experience.
